Staying at Delicious Monster was a lovely experience for my family and me. As a travel writer with a passion for exploring the great outdoors, I found this place a hidden gem for families. The relaxed atmosphere made us feel right at home from the start, and the stunning sea view from our cottage was a delightful way to wake up each morning. We spent our days enjoying various activities, like hiking nearby trails that offered incredible landscapes and bird-watching opportunities. It was not uncommon to spot monkeys during our leisurely walks! The proximity to Second Beach allowed us to stroll along the shoreline, sometimes joined by the friendly local dogs. Our host, Jewel, was incredibly welcoming, providing insights into local attractions. We enjoyed meals at the on-site backpackers lodge, but the fully equipped kitchen also made it easy to prepare our own meals, which was great for family bonding. Delicious Monster is a wonderful spot for families looking for a combination of relaxation and adventure. We left wishing we could have stayed longer, and it's certainly a place we hope to revisit in the future.
